Looking to hire someone to eventually be able to run a lawncare crew. This is a new business and can only guarantee 30 hours a week for now but I am growing quickly. The main days I will need help are Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. They are long shifts 12-13 hours sometimes. It is lawncare so things will slow down in September, And my fall cleanup schedule isn’t as busy as the cutting is. We can talk about options for work during the winter if interested.
I’m willing to train the right person but I really prefer someone who has experience. I’m trying to find someone I can trust to work without me so I’m not going to have much patience with someone I don’t believe can fill that role. I am very generous with my pay though and the right person will get raises quickly. Once I feel like you are capable and doing things the way I need them done I will pay you $20/hr
Things I am looking for;
Someone who follows directions and doesn’t have to constantly explain to me why they do things a different way. Someone who is looking for something else to help with when the work is done and doesn’t need to be told to do this. Someone who looks like they are getting a workout while they work (not necessarily all the time) but getting in and out as efficiently as possible Is the name of the game. Somebody looking for as many hours as I can get them (reasonably) and is willing to work by themselves. Somebody who is consistently there on the 3 days I mentioned, Saturday and Sunday being the most important.
