Rockland County Commercial Law Firm has immediate need for highly motivated associate attorney with 3+ years of relevant experience in New York State and federal courts with interest and understanding of commercial and business law. This position offers an opportunity to participate in a variety of commercial matters, from both the transactional and litigation perspective. Candidates need to be organized with the ability to work independently, draft litigation and transactional documents, correspondence and maintain a calendar. Must be a conscientious team player with computer skills in Word, Outlook and Excel and research skills in Lexis, Westlaw and/or Fastcase. Duties include, but are not limited to court appearances, motion practice, legal research and writing. Working knowledge of CPLR and FRCP helpful. Candidate must submit cover letter, resume and writing sample. Will consider part time. Flexible hours will be helpful.
