Ethan Allen Workforce Solutions is seeking a Machine Operator for their client located near Carmel. The Machine Operator will be working on machines that melt metal. You will need to load, operate and monitor machines then build molds, pour product into molds and then put into furnace. Experience with casting, melting and casting furnaces is required.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
Maintaining supplies, equipment, personal protective equipment and environmental records associated with area processes
Following written processes to combine the correct materials at the correct quantities in order to lead to the desired results
Casting metal
Utilizing a casting furnace
Assembling molds based on specified product size
Inspecting finishing products to ensure established standards are met
Performing other duties as assigned
The Machine Operator must:
Have at least 1 year of experience in the industry
Have experience with casting, melting and casting furnaces
be able to lift 45lbs, stand for long periods of time, be safety conscious and go up and down stairs
Have a HS diploma or GED
This is a full time temp-to-hire position with 1st and 3rd shift opportunities. Hours are either 6am-2:30pm or 10:30pm-7am
Pay rate ranges from $14.97-$25.51 per hour, depending on shift and experience.
