Technical Support – Automotive Refinish
We have an immediate opening for a qualified candidate with automotive refinish experience to provide technical support to end users, as well as inside sales and general customer service to our distributor customers.
Based in Newburgh, NY, Coventry Coatings Corp. manufactures automotive refinish materials, sign paints and industrial coatings. Our brands include Kirker Automotive Finishes, Ronan Paints, Trylaner International and North American Technologies.
The ideal candidate for this position must have experience in automotive refinish/restoration, preferably having worked in an autobody repair shop. Must be a good communicator, with patience and the ability to provide sound technical advice and detailed product recommendations, both over the phone and via email. This person will help troubleshoot application problems reported by end users out in the field, and will be their primary point of contact on product performance complaints. The candidate will be encouraged to use our automotive refinish materials to become familiar with each item in our product catalog.
We’re looking for someone with good customer service skills and a positive attitude, who is willing to go the extra mile to provide external clients with the best experience possible. As a key part of our customer service team, other duties include inside sales, order entry, invoicing and follow-up. Will develop and maintain relationships with key distributor accounts.
This position is full-time, working 40 hours per week at our Newburgh office.
