The office assistant will provide general office support and work closely with the Executive Director on special projects.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Enter data and keep the contact data base up to date
Coordinate logistics for community events
Manage inventory and maintenance of office supplies and equipment
Manage phone/email/mail communications with constituency as needed
Update/maintain the HLC calendars - meetings, appointments, events, schedule changes
Coordinate board of director meetings and provide related administrative support
Qualifications/Knowledge/ Skills and Education Requirements:
Familiar with Apple computer and the following programs - iCal, Excel, Microsoft Office, Daylite (or other contact management programs)
Experience with video editing a plus
Strong time management skills
Ability to organize, prioritize and complete multiple tasks with close attention to detail
Ability to work well in a team as well as independently
Must have the ability to quickly master new online tools (apps, websites, social media, etc.)
Excellent telephone demeanor
Good writing skills, especially emails to clients
5 years office management experience
