MINNA is looking for a part-time retail and studio associate to join our tight-knit team. We are searching for a friendly, outgoing, driven person with an interest in home decor, textiles, and ethically made goods. We believe that the storefront is a direct representation of MINNA as a brand, and we are looking for someone who believes in our mission and wants to tell the world about our products. We hope team members will grow within the company.
This is a paid part-time position based in Hudson, NY. Weekend availability required.
Responsibilities include:
Greeting and making customers feel welcome in the store
Becoming an expert on our brand and all of our products to be a resource for customers
Ensuring the MINNA brand and mission are being represented constantly throughout the store
Executing sales with customers
Delivering outstanding customer service
Working with the Retail Manager to meet daily/weekly/quarterly/yearly sales goals
Entering inventory into a POS system and keeping inventory organized and accessible
Ensuring the storefront is always in presentable order - clean, tidy, organized, and dusted regularly
Assisting with daily administrative tasks and shipping
Qualifications:
Retail sales experience
Exceptional people skills
Effective written/verbal communications to facilitate sale/customer/vendor relations
Ability to multi-task
Self-motivated
Strong computer and technology skills
Experience with Shopify or Shipstation a plus
Excellent time management skills
Ability to work cooperatively in a small team environment
MINNA is an ethically made home textile brand. We collaborate with artisans in Mexico, Guatemala, Uruguay, and Bolivia to produce our line of homewares. We wholesale our line worldwide, sell online and also have a brick-and-mortar location in Hudson, NY. This position has room for growth and can be tailored to fit the creative strengths of the right candidate.
