Responsible for Equipment Specialists as well as REES Techs and contractors maintaining and operating Regeneron managed equipment. Responsible for critical equipment support within the Vivarium, PMPD, and BAS areas. Responsible for the maintenance and operation of the REES Environmental monitoring systems. Supervises and performs equipment repairs and maintenance, and schedules and coordinates work with outside contractors and/or property management provided personnel. Provides and/ or coordinates equipment support services for on-site and off-site company events
Responsibilities:
Performs lab equipment service, preventative maintenance, relocations, and installations.
Performs daily, weekly, monthly, & quarterly equipment inspections.
Performs calibrations, inventory, updates equipment lists on Facilities server/s, and maintains accurate records for Autoclaves/ Sterilizers, Rack Washers, Tunnel Washers and Glass Washers, Incubators, Dryers, Ovens, automated handling systems, BSC Hoods, Centrifuges, Film Developers/ Dark Rooms, Ovens, Milli-Qs, LN2 Freezers/ Cryo Freezers, and Rees Monitoring System.
Updates the Cryo Freezers and Incubators Emergency contact lists.
Responds to REES Alarms 24/7, addresses REES Monitoring issues, service and maintain the REES system.
Work with REES personnel when required and provide temporary coverage for staff vacations and PTO days.
Responsible for the development and implementation of preventative maintenance schedules including filter cleaning and replacement, fan motor service, replacement of worn or broken parts etc.
Order parts and keep records of all parts ordered and installed.
Assists in the development, review, revision, and approval of relevant SOPs.
Utilizes computerized IWMS work order system and documents work product.
Assists in general facilities tasks, office and lab renovations.
Operate company vehicles.
Maintain customer service standards.
Replenishes specialty gases on a regular basis.
Utilize IWMS system and document all work.
Available 24/7 for assistance and emergency response.
Requirements:
Education
BS Degree or 10 years of electromechanical maintenance experience
Experience
Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office applications (word, excel, outlook, power point, etc.)
Adept in the use of mobile communication devices
Skilled in the use of the REES Environmental Monitoring System
Skilled in the use of BMS and IWMS systems
Operate company vehicles
Operate powered pallet jack and fork lift
Exhibit good communication skills, both written and verbal
Exhibit very good organizational skills
Ability to manage numerous tasks/projects simultaneously
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent troubleshooting skills
