Command Security Corporation is hiring Armed Security Officers
All Armed Security Officers will:
Remain alert, avoid distractions, and observe all activity around the post;
Protect everyone and everything within the limits and duties of the post;
Give the alarm and assist in response to a fire or other emergency;
Document all incidents and violations of the clients policies and procedures.
Requirements:
New York State Unrestricted License to Carry Pistol.
NYS Armed Security Guard License.
Law Enforcement and/or Military backgroundÂ
Armed Security Officer Training Requalification (with the exception of Exempt Armed Officers not required to take the course due to status according to NYS Division of Criminal Justice and NYS Department of Licensing):
8 Hour NRA Basic Pistol Safety Course (non-firing) as required by Westchester County, New York;
47 Hour Firearms Training Course:
7 Hours of classroom instruction on NYS Penal Law (Article 35);
40 Hours of range training to include qualification.
Annual In-Service Training and Requalification (with the exception of Exempt Armed Officers not required to take the course due to status according to NYS Division of Criminal Justice and NYS Department of Licensing):
8 Hours of annual, in-service security training;
8 Hours of annual, in-service firearms training;
3 Hours of classroom instruction on the Use of Force;
5 Hours of range training with weapon qualification.
Defense Tactic Training: 4 Hours of Baton / ASP tactical Training.
Annual PMCS (Preventing and Managing Crisis Situations) Training.
