Our client is a well established Family Owned home appliance repair company. They service home appliances in the Rockland County and Brooklyn areas and are seeking 1 to 2 experienced appliance repair technicians.
Specific Responsibilities of Appliance Repair Technician:
Deliver Exceptional Customer Service to customers in their homes/businesses
Accurately diagnose and repair appliances/equipment in the customer's home/business
Order appropriate parts to repair appliance/equipment.
Provide cost estimates for repairs/installations and collect payment and/or payment information from customers for work performed
Job Requirements of Appliance Repair Technician:
Experience with the following appliances: Washer, Dryers, Ovens, Stoves, Refrigerators, Freezers, Dishwasher, Microwaves (nice to have), Garbage Disposal (Nice to have)
Understands and reads schematics
Good communication skills and ability to work with all types of personalities
Must be reliable and organized
Valid Driver's License with clean record
Job Preferences of Appliance Repair Technician:
Microwaves (nice to have), Garbage Disposal (Nice to have)
Sealed systems experience - Highly Preferred
2+ years of experience preferred
High end appliance experience is a plus
Proficiency to navigate tablet-based technology (will train)
Compensation: $60,000 - $80,000 + based on experience
