Job Description:
Career opportunity with a cabinet/closet manufacturing company based in the beautiful Hudson Valley in New York. We are looking for a knowledgeable and motivated production manager, who can lead our production team into the future.
Candidate will assist with both cabinet shop employee selection, implementation, maintenance, safety, lean manufacturing, and quality procedures
Responsible for cabinet shop operations of the organization, including: ensuring and constantly improving the safety, quality, and profitability of our operations through the ongoing implementation of effective methods and strategies.
Manager will report directly to the CEO. The production manager area supports our finishing operation as well as other areas such as Sales/Project Management, Drafting, and Installation
This is a hands-on position.
Eligibility Requirements:
Cabinet manufacturing experience is absolutely key, i.e.- solid wood joinery methods, doors, custom cabinetry manufacturing methods, millwork, closet systems, etc.
At least 5 years of hands-on experience in fine Residential cabinet making operations, with occasional high-end Commercial projects, plus supervisory experience. Finished goods include solid wood products (Entry Doors, Libraries, Tables, etc.), and paneled products (fine Kitchen Cabinetry, Vanities, etc.), and unique custom fabrications.
Emphasis on highest quality finishes at AWI Premium and beyond!
Experience in computerized (CAD/CAM/CNC) Woodworking Shop a plus!

Salary: $58,000.00 to $68,000.00 /year
