After School Program Director in Trumansburg. The Trumansburg After School Program, Inc. (TASP) has an opening for a part time Program Director. The Program Director works together with staff to develop and deliver a relaxed, recreational program for 32 children in grades K-2nd . This position is 20-25 hours per week from 1:45-5:45 pm on school days plus meetings and administrative time. Pay is $17.00 per hour plus 5 paid sick days.
Responsibilities:
Support families by providing safe, caring, quality after school childcare.
Provide a comfortable and happy environment, based on respect, where children can develop to their fullest potential.
Work with staff and children to plan and implement suitable activities.
Required Education/Experience:
Desired associate or bachelors degree in education, recreation or related field or equivalent experience.
Supervisory experience.
Must be able to fulfill NYS requirements for SACC child care staff.
Required Qualities/Skills:
Enjoy working with children
Be responsible, reliable, and dependable
Ability to develop a relaxed, recreational program
Interest in one or more of the following: recreation, art, crafts, drama, nature
