Home Health Care Aide/Personal Assistant needed immediately:
HHA Certification with at least 3 years' experience
Preference of applicants living within 10 miles of Lansing
Valid Driver's License
Responsibilities: Personal Care(bathing, dressing, feeding, grooming), Daily Range of Motion Exercises, wound care and any other additional needs
Access and address the emotional and physical needs of the client always
Must have experience using a Hoyer lift and ability to move the client in and out of a wheelchair
Experience changing a super-pubic catheter
Take the client to all appointments and accompany the client to all doctors/medical appointments
Additional personal assistant responsibilities: drive patient to appointments for work or personal appointments, run errands as required (grocery store, post office, etc.). Assist client to set up, view, respond to all emails and help with any other business or personal needs.
25- 30 hours per week, typically 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. but is flexible
