SKJ Facilities Management, a trusted cleaning company that has provided professional cleaning services and property management in New York and Pennsylvania for 20 years, is seeking to fill janitorial positions for services in Ithaca, NY (near Ithaca airport). Ideal candidate will have past cleaning experience with a commercial cleaning company, but training is provided.
This is an evening position, 5PM - 11PM, Monday Friday. Job tasks include cleaning offices and employee common areas, restrooms, breakrooms, entrances, and hallways, some in a factory environment. Each shift consists of sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, polishing, stocking dispensers, emptying trash, etc. Employees are required to follow all safety procedures and policies and wear required PPE that includes safety glasses, ear protection, gloves, and steel toe shoes. Candidates must be able to lift up to 40#.
This is a permanent position with our company. We are looking for a dependable person that takes pride in a job well done and enjoys working with others. While much of the work is done independently, you would be joining a team of 6 staff.
