Facilities & Machine Maintenance, Warehouse Worker (Ithaca)
Emmy's Organics, Inc. is a healthy snack food company located in Ithaca, NY.
EO is currently seeking a motivated & hard-working individual to join its team. This person must be willing to work in all areas of our business i.e. manufacturing to packaging, shipping to receiving.
Mon-Fri
Hours: 8am-4:30pm, other hours as needed
Pay: TBD - Based on Experience
Reports to: Director of Operations
Responsibilities include:
Preventative Maintenance on machinery
Minor machine repair and reset
Routine building + systems maintenance
Forklift operation
Palletizing product
Warehouse organization
Maintain ship/receive log
Assist forming + packaging team as needed
Skills & Knowledge:
Experience with maintaining machinery (food production machinery experience a plus)
Fork lift certified
Warehouse experience
Creative problem solver able to see an issue and resolve it quickly
Excellent communication skills
Correctness and attention to detail
A good understanding of physical condition and safety and basic cleanliness rules
Good team working skills and the ability to work independently
Capable of following detailed instructions and procedures
Ability to understand quality control methods
Basic math skills
Basic Internet and computer skills
