Mimi's Attic, a furniture consignment store in the West End, is looking to hire part-time Furniture Movers to pick-up and deliver furniture on Saturdays. We provide the truck and you will be joining a small team of hard-working individuals. This is a great way to earn some extra cash, work for a popular local small business, and get a workout, to boot. All staff receives a 10% merchandise discount at both Mimi's Attic and Mama Goose.
Compensation: $13.75/hour after training period
Required availability: At least two or three Saturdays per month beginning as early as 8:30am and working until the days' pick up and deliveries are complete, usually 5 to 8 hours. Additional hours may be available "on call".
Job Requirements: Applicant must be able to lift and carry 70+ lbs (without risk of injury) and be punctual, reliable, and attentive to detail. Good communication skills and previous moving experience a plus. Applicant should have a current, valid driver's license. Background checks will be done.
