Brightworks Computer Consulting is seeking qualified Integrations Technicians capable of deploying new software and systems to business clients. The position is Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm with a one-hour lunch break each day.

The ideal candidate is highly focused, personable, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, enjoys collaborating on a team, and has outstanding listening and critical thinking abilities. Candidates should also be able to effectively diagnose and repair hardware and software problems with desktop and server systems.

Preferred Skills:

• Desktop Operating Systems: Familiarity with Windows 7 through Windows 10

• Server Operating Systems: Experience with Windows Server 2003 through Windows Server 2012 as well as GNU/Linux

• Software: Familiarity with MS Office Suite, Antivirus including Kaspersky and Symantec; implementation of customer-specific line-of-business applications

• Hardware: Hardware troubleshooting & replacement; printer installation & troubleshooting

• Virtualization: Experience with VMWare products including ESXi, VSphere, and VCenter

• Networking: Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, routing, and switching; familiarity with managed switches and VLANs; familiarity with Linux routers and SIP phone servers; configuration of wireless network infrastructure; familiarity with IPSEC/SSLVPN

• "Soft" Skills: Customer service, vendor interaction, research and analysis, documentation

The ideal candidate will also have experience with at least one of the following languages: Perl/CGI, Bash, Powershell, or Javascript.

As an Integration Technician at Brightworks, your responsibilities would include:

• Designing and implementing new computer systems, servers, and networks

• Implementing and managing ESXi servers and virtual machines

• Identifying problems and inefficiencies in client infrastructure, then designing and implementing a solution with respect to the client's budget

• Working closely with the Project Coordinator to manage client expectations and ensure work is completed on-time

• Entering detailed notes into our ticketing system and our internal knowledgebase

• Transitioning completed projects to the Brightworks Support Team for ongoing support
