Position Overview:
We’re looking for passionate, reliable, and energetic Baristas to join our MOKAFÉ Melville team. As a MOKAFÉ Barista, you’ll be at the heart of our customer experience — crafting beautiful beverages, delivering exceptional service, and helping create the welcoming atmosphere that defines MOKAFÉ.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks, specialty coffees, teas, and other menu items with precision and care
Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including equipment, counters, and seating areas
Handle cash and POS transactions accurately and efficiently
Restock and maintain inventory of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies
Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times
Support team members and contribute to a positive, energetic work environment
Learn and share knowledge about MOKAFÉ’s menu, products, and story
Qualifications:
Previous barista or café experience preferred, but not required — we’ll train the right person
Passion for coffee, hospitality, and community
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
Schedule:
Full-time and part-time positions available. Weekend availability is preferred.
