Become part of a team that creates smiles in so many ways! Only exceptional people need apply! Full-Time (or near full time) Orthodontic Assistant wanted. MUST be either a CERTIFIED DENTAL ASSISTANT (NYS licensed with a license #) or a Registered Dental Hygienist to be considered (or currently enrolled in a program for either.) We have new, modern, ultra friendly, growing practices and are looking to add a new member to our team! Orthodontic experience preferred, but not required. If you're not outgoing, personable and happy to be in this profession, don't apply! (**Please note, A NYS CDA means you have graduated from an accredited assisting program, have passed the entire DANB, and applied and received a NYS license stating as such!) The following are the days offered:
-Alternate Mondays/Tuesdays 11am-8pm
-Most Wednesdays 10-7 or 8-5 (depending on the week)
-Most Thursdays 10-6 or 9-6
-Fridays 9am-6pm
-1-2 Saturdays/month 9-2
-1 Sunday/month 8-12
There is a possibility to add time as the practices grow. Please attach your resume to the response to be considered! Salary offered starts @ $18-40/hour depending on credentials and experience with room to grow!
Responsibilities and Duties
-Taking Records (xrays, clinical photographs, and ITero (intra-oral) 3D scans)
-Changing orthodontic wires
-Prepping teeth for orthodontic bonding
-Sterilizing intruments
-Giving post-bonding instructions
-Bonding Invisalign attachments
Qualifications and Skills
MUST be either:
-NYS licensed CDA (this means you have a professional license and a license # registered with NYS)
OR
-A NYS licensed Registered dental hygienist.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $18.00 to $40.00 /hour
