Busy Facilities Management Long Island Company is looking for an Entry Level Human Assistant in Recruitment to join the team. In this role, the Human Resources Assistant will be responsible for focusing heavily on all facets of Facility Management recruitment. Along with assisting the HR team with strong administrative duties such as processing new hire paperwork, filing, I-9 Compliance with E-Verify, Background checks, pre-screening applicants and setting up interviews, assist with Job fairs and trainings.
Hours: Monday-Friday 10:00am-6:00pm (Full Time)
HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT JOB REQUIREMENTS:
â¢ Heavy recruiting in the field of Facility Management/Janitorial
â¢ Review and analyze resumes daily - Conduct prescreening interviews.
â¢ Review applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements - set up interviews with hiring managers.
â¢ Scour job search websites (Craigslist, Indeed.com, Zip Recruiter, Glassdoor etc.) for potential recruits and contact those
â¢ Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
â¢ High attention to detail and proof reading capabilities
â¢ Experience working in an HR office or similar a plus++
â¢ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize workload and multitask!
â¢ Displays a professional demeanor and has the proven ability to be discrete while understanding the importance of required confidentiality
â¢ Associates Degree in human relations, business administration, sociology or a related field preferred but not required.
â¢ Bi-lingual is a plus ++
