Graphic Designer / Signs, Print & Environmental
We are a Design/Build manufacturing innovator and leader in custom signage, wayfinding solutions, large format graphics, exhibit, displays and interiors for retail, federal, hospitality and more! We are seeking a talented designer with an eye for detail to join our in-house design team and report primarily to the Creative Director. This is a very hands on role for a smart, solution-seeking designer who looks at the big picture as well as the details. This position combines expertise in creative design, technical creative production and material selection. We seek someone with a great attitude who is willing to go above and beyond and grow alongside our business.
You will participate in all phases of the design process from kick off - through product installation.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Strong understanding of graphic design and typography.
Ability to package print ready assets for production
Ability to scale and size files accurately
Some knowledge of fabrication and installation methods.
Approachable, down-to-earth, highly motivated and proactively comes to the table with ideas, ability to solve problems
Highly collaborative and open to feedback.
Detail-oriented, a keen eye for aesthetics and details
Strong time management skills
Maintain and improve technical skills and knowledge of creative platforms
Ability to design for multiple projects simultaneously from inception to completion.
Ability to interact with vendors, external personnel in a professional manner.
Ability to manage tasks with minimal supervision.
Capable of meeting tight deadlines.
Desired qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred
Some experience in a graphic design position
Must have excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator etc) and interest in new technology, processes and developments
Demonstrates core skills in graphic fundamentals, typography, and print.
Familiar with Cad, SignAgent Pro, and rendering tools a plus
