About Gibbons Pools. Founded in 1975, Gibbons Pools is the leading builder of Premium Gunite Pools and Spas and has been recognized as a top 10 builder in the country by Pool & Spa Magazine. Located on Long Island NY our service area spans from NY city and Westchester County to all of Long Island from Queens to the North and South Forks. We are looking for highly motivated, personable sales talent to cultivate both company generated leads as well as new leads with the ability to transform those leads into orders.
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to:
Understand our offerings, market, competition and how to position Gibbons Pools with respect to our quality and value proposition to the potential customer.
Listen to the customers needs and requests and translate that to a proper offering.
Be the main contact and owner of the project up to and including the quote process, contract signing and start of the project.
Schedule all appointments for prospect in our CRM as well as prepare a variety of status reports as needed, including activity logs and sales reports from the CRM database.
Meet with V.P. bi-weekly to review individual progress against sales plan and determine corrective actions if needed
Qualifications:
Must be results-oriented and able to work both independently and within a team environment.
Minimum three (3) years Sales experience within the pool building or landscape industry required.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel.
High aptitude for problem solving.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Provide high level of customer service.
Good organizational skills
Valid drivers license.
