Mobile Spray Technician
Full time position
APEX LININGS: The areas leading mobile installer of industrial grade spray-in bed liners for vehicles. We are seeking an experienced spray technician but not a must (willing to Train the right candidate).
Job tasks will include but not be limited to:
Spray application of truck beds using advanced spray technology
Prepare vehicles for spray in-liner application: Cleaning, sanding and taping/masking vehicles
Maintenance and cleaning of multi component spray gun
Must provide own transportation and safely operate company vehicles when required (driver's license required)
Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather
Follows all guidelines (written or otherwise) related to proper and safe methods, materials, equipment and operations, including the use of proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Willing to work on multiple projects at once
Performs inspections of completed work to ensure thorough and quality workmanship and suitability of vehicle for return to service utilizing mandatory check-out guidelines and tools
Ensure work area is always clean and orderly
Background check and drug testing may be conducted and agreement to this is a condition of hire.
Ability to solicit new accounts and maintain relationships at current accounts
Ability to manage proprietary mobile invoicing platform (will train), maintain collections and collect all necessary data
Successful candidate will demonstrate or possess the following:
High School Diploma/GED
Motivated, self-starter, self-managed, takes initiative, punctual, dependable
Ability to stand the majority of a 8-10 hour day
Ability to lift 50 pounds multiple times a day
Ability to clearly communicate verbally in a one-to-one or group environment
Works cooperatively with management
Represent the company professionally in a drug-free and sober work environment (pre-employment and on-job drug testing may be required)
Ability to work alone or in a team. Has the willingness to learn the craft of spray on bed liners while paying attention to detail with installation.
Beneficial experience would include: body shop experience, mechanic, maintenance, spray on bed liner, automotive painting.
Benefits
Salary: $15/hr during 90 day training (may be cut shorter dependent on pace of learning), followed by choice of two pay package options
option 1: 500 base weekly salary + 10% commision of gross sales
option 2:15-20% commision of gross sales based on abilitys and profisioncy of preformance
