Mobile Veterinary Assistant (Long Island & NYC)
Schedule: Mon–Sat, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, plus on-call after-hours emergencies
Type: Full-time Field-based
Join our mobile team supporting veterinarians and pet families across Long Island and NYC. This is hands-on, fast-paced work that requires strength, discretion, and compassion.
Assist on mobile calls; safely handle and transport pets and equipment
Provide respectful, professional support to pet owners and partner clinics
Maintain vehicle, supplies, and chain-of-custody documentation
Respond to occasional after-hours emergency calls
Minimum requirements
Clean NY driver’s license with no points/accidents in the past 5 years
Physically strong; able to lift 90+ lbs with proper technique
Punctual, professional, and comfortable working independently in the field
Customer-service mindset; calm under pressure; reliable communication
Nice to have
Prior veterinary, animal care,or mobile service experience
Basic familiarity with GPS/apps and simple paperwork
