Our client, an e-commerce start-up, is looking for a Financial Analyst to join their team. This organization needs a Financial Analyst with consumer goods experience to take on responsibilities quickly and complete accurate, high-quality work. The Financial Analyst should thrive in a fast-paced environment and feel comfortable generating and presenting reports and analysis to upper management.
Salary/Rate: $32 - $37/hr | $77 - 82K
Position Overview: The Financial Analyst will provide support and suggest process improvements to executives and the Finance Director, in addition to any ad hoc projects. This Financial Analyst should enjoy an energetic, team-oriented start-up environment and be motivated by contributing to a growing organization.
Responsibilities of the Financial Analyst:
Build financial models to support cost-saving and new business strategy initiatives
Conduct monthly assessment of financial performance for executives
Perform variance analyses and provide explanations
Provide support for accounts and financial statement analysis
Monitor inventory trends and metrics to provide reporting for management
Qualifications for the Financial Analyst:
5 to 7 years experience in a similar role and/or industry
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Netsuite
Independent, efficient, analytical
Experience in CPG or e-commerce industry preferred
Education Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Finance, or related field required
MBA a plus
