Kathy Kuo Home is an established luxury online and showroom boutique carrying curated collections of fine furniture and home decor. Established since 2013, our entrepreneurial minded team has grown rapidly is seeking an entry to mid level design driven Design / Sales / Customer Loyalty Specialist to work full time on premise. Our office is split into two retail spaces: one being the corporate KKH office, and the other an interior design showroom, Design Bar.

This position is carved into three components - sales / creative / customer loyalty but also encompasses a whole lot more. Large potential for growth in stable, relaxed, creative environment.

Job requirements:

- Love of home decor and basic knowledge of furniture terms.

- Ability to nurture a sales cycle through consistent and responsible follow up.

- Keen understanding of customer behavior and psychology, ability to empathize, offer design solutions, convert, retain and reward repeat customers.

- Be courteous, professional and demonstrate an elevated style sensibility in design.

- Be extremely organized and able to work in a fast paced, dynamic work environment juggling multiple tasks

- Can do / roll your sleeves up attitude

- Excellent team player while being able to still work independently without distraction

- Proficiency with Excel in a Mac based environment

This position includes but is not limited to:

- Up selling coordinates and identifying opportunities for additional services

- Helping interior designers and non designers with design solutions

- Managing claims and processing new orders

- Generating invoices and custom orders

- Maintaining composure and positive service etiquette during stressful situations

- Resolving client product or service complaints quickly and effectively with retention as primary goal

Qualifications:

- 1-3+ years experience in customer service / sales

- Extremely detail oriented and organized

- Experience in conflict resolution and people management

- Ability to seamlessly use phone, live chat, text and manage multiple clients at the same time

- Deep empathy and high EQ

Outside of the above job descriptions, you are:

Continuously seeking to grow, learn and have a genuine desire to absorb and understand as much about design as you can; be humble in your successes; be extremely detail oriented, but above all, you love people (and dog and children), love seeing them happy through great design and customer service.

The primary role is to assist in design decisions, order follow up and making sure our design savvy customers love every step of the purchasing, install and ultimately enjoyment of their KKH product. The position is very dynamic and everyday is slightly different with a lot of moving parts.
