Day to Day:
Project Scope / Business Need: Capital reliability/core engineering. This team will be taking on AWS account management, and making sure accounts are up to speed in compliance (security, posture, etc). Want an SRE mindset to scale up for future workloads/applications as they push through ownership of the AWS accounts.
- This will include a couple hundred AWS accounts which makes up 400+ applications/services that are within the LOB.
Basic Qualifications:
Configuring Cloudfront distributions and managing SSL certs
Configuring KMS and implementing at-rest & in-transit encryption
At least 7 years of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience
At least 4 years of experience in Build and CI/CD/CT technologies
At least 4 years of experience with AWS
At least 2 years of experience with Golang
At least 2 years of experience with Object Oriented Programming concepts
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters Degree
At least two years of experience using SQL, Database management systems, RDBMS or NoSQL
3+years experience with various application & infrastructure monitoring tools
Certified in AWS SysOps
3+ years with Kubernetes
