QA Automation Engineer
1+ Year contract (option to hire w/ extension if contract preferred)
NYC/Remote (1 day a week on-site on Manhattan office)

8+ years of related experience
Expertise in Financial/Banking domain
Automation of scripts in python, javascript, java, or C# (Must have a strong scripting ability)
Deep understanding of agile methodology
Deep understanding and experience in developing testing methodology, terminology, templates etc.
Deep understanding of the test management and defect management processes
Good knowledge of derivative products and applications
Experience with SQL and nice to have MongoDB
Understanding of CI/CD (Jenkins)
Experience with Git or Bitbucket
Experience with UI and API automation, using Selenium, Playwright or similar tools
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a problem-solving mindset
Team player, with demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders (Business and Technology)
Forward looking vision of Automation
Expert understanding of test tools and techniques
Foundational management capabilities to drive demand and capacity planning, budgeting and cost tracking
Demonstrated ability to identify and mitigate Risks and Issues related to Testing
