Job DescriptionAs the Inventory Associate at our Main Campus, you will be responsible for inspecting accepting incoming shipments of MedSurg supplies and Durable Medical Equipment for General Stores or Perishable/non-perishable, and paper goods for Food & Nutrition, stocks supplies in designated storage areas and distributes them according to requests throughout MSKCC. Participates in inventory counting, ensures inventory is maintained accurately, and storage areas are kept clean and organized at all times. Role Overview:

Able to hold yourself and others accountable to accomplish goals and live up to commitments.

Able to manage and replenish Perishable, non-perishable and paper goods in temperature regulated environments

Able to use a combination of feedback and reflection to gain productive insights into personal strengths and weaknesses

Key Qualifications:

Supervise and control the flow of deliveries received from primary Perishable/non-perishable goods suppliers and paper suppliers.

Use appropriate equipment for the unloading of goods received from Suppliers.

Manage and replenish Perishable/non-perishable, and paper goods for Food & Nutrition, stocks supplies in designated storage areas and distributes them according to requests throughout MSKCC.

Check supplies received against the packing slips and the Receiving log book for quantities and specifications by conducting a physical inspection and a physical count of parcels delivered.

Maintains clean, neat and organized storage areas at all times (including storage rooms, coolers, freezers as necessary)

Records temperatures and HACCP records as necessary, if processing food related products

Communicate any discrepancies to supervisor/manager so appropriate actions can be taken.

Prioritizes emergency incoming shipments for replenishment of General Stores inventory according to delivery type by placing parcels in designated areas for immediate distribution to requisitioners.

Core Skills:

At least 1 year of experience in Shipping and Receiving.

Ability to stand for long periods of time, walk, bend and push items
