Medical CenterSummary DescriptionUnder the direction of the PI, the incumbent will play an integral role in statistical methods and data analysis. The statistician will analyze data from large scale data sets as well as collect, enter and analyze clinical data using statistical software. Develop and apply statistical theories and methods to organize, interpret and summarize clinical and epidemiological data to provide information. Conduct clinical investigation and/or other research. Generate reports under the direction of the Program Director; contribute to the decision for optimal study design and the proper use of statistical methodologies for studies. Design small pilot studies to estimate statistical parameters for future studies. Design and validate analysis data sets and preparation of study proposals and grant applications.Minimum Degree RequiredPh.D. in Statistics/Biostatistics or equivalentMinimum Qualifications Expertise in SAS, STATA and/or R.
Prior experience with analysis of large data sets.
