A global provider in financial services on the Fortune 1000 list as a top U.S. company based on revenue. Headquarter in North America with over 20,000+ employees, they are looking to hire a Full-Time Big Data Software Engineer.

As a Big Data Software Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining a cloud native service framework. Tasks include providing data and analytics solutions to banks, asset managers, insurance companies and hedge funds. Working collaboratively with a team, you are required to explore and develop unique ways to solve technological challenges.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • University Degree in Computer Science OR Computer Engineering
  • Ability to build a decoupled system
  • Familiar with Cloud Development methods
  • Microservices
  • Cassandra is preferred OR expertise in PostreSQL, S3, and MongoDB
  • Previous experience with financial institutions IT and developing financial applications.
  • Comfortable working and collaborating in person and remotely

What You Will Be Doing:

Tech Breakdown
  • Restful API's, Python, Linux, Docker, Terraform and Public Cloud environments.

Daily Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain a microservice framework with a multitude of teams.
  • Design automated CI & CD
  • Create features, maximize performance, scale the platform
  • Work with development team on core software
  • Overlooking metrics using PrometheGrafana or New Relic

  • Description We are hiring a Master Data Management Engineer who will work with teams in a fast-paced technology organization. As a Master Data Manatement Engineer, you will support the analytic, technical and operational aspects of enterprise data management and governance. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.Salary Range: $115,918/year to $216,000/year.
