Position: Cash Equities & Trading - Java Full Stack Engineer
Location: Remote during Covid - New York

Duration: 12 months+ possible extension

Job Description and Responsibilities:

• Good to have Fidessa experience specifically Fidessa Expression Evaluator
• Must have strong Java Experience and skills
• Must have strong SQL experience and skills
• Good to have Python Experience and skills
• In depth understating of DevOps and Agile principles and methodology
• Developer will implement technical solutions to cater to the eTrading Platform
• Maintain & Improve applications, code, procedures and support the systems
• Knowledge and experience of Cash Equity trading market and electronic trading is good to have
• Solid analytical skills and strong financial model background
• Work with traders and quantitative analysts to specify and build out real-time trading applications
• Ability to cope with rapid front office trading development requests and to respond to and address production situations promptly
• Ability to communicate and act professionally with IT staff and business clients while under strict deadlines
• Ability to work in a team-oriented setting
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
