The Cloud Engineer will work in coordination with the IT department to develop and support cloud, windows infrastructure. The Cloud Engineer will also assist in the administration of cloud service and a Windows server environment.
Our ideal candidate is a detail & execution-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, which is continuously evolving. The candidate should have 5+ years’ knowledge and experience in implementing, managing, and monitoring Microsoft Azure environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and configure O365 & Azure environment.
  • Install and configure the Windows operating system in cloud IaaS providers (Azure\AWS).
  • Manage and upgrade operating systems.
  • Develop strong philosophies on proper utilization of Data Architecture, leveraging Platform-as-a-Service and Infrastructure-as-a-Service technology stacks.
  • Collaborate with a team of IT professionals to set specifications for all database systems.
  • Resolve issues under Service Level Agreements.
  • Evaluate existing infrastructure and make recommendations according to industry best practices.

Qualifications:
  • Experience with designing, implementing, and performing migration to cloud infrastructure using industry best practices.
  • Experience with Azure resource groups, networking, and storage is a must.
  • Knowledge on migrations from On-premise and hosted providers to a cloud environment.
  • Experience with implementing security best practices, as well as performing security assessments, including penetration testing and evaluating overall vulnerabilities for PCI compliance.
  • Experience with managing and optimizing costs on an ongoing basis through rightsizing, instance planning, and automation based on usage patterns.
  • Experience implementing and managing organization-wide equipment including firewalls, servers, PC's, and remote workstations.
  • Strong project management, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills and can function at a high-performance level on a tight schedule.
  • Experience with setting and maintaining goals and targets for your various projects and measuring the success.
  • A team player with excellent communication skills
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
