ResponsibilitiesCandidate Requirement: Secret Clereance (Active)Short descriptionSenior Systems Administrator - Works with minimal direction as a seasoned resource. Installs, configures, troubleshoots, resolve complex issues, and supports ongoing usability of desktop computers, laptops, SW/HW, and peripheral Commercial-Off-the Shelf (COTS)/ Government-off-the-Shelf (GOTs) technology.Responsible for providing all Domestic Consular facilities with technical expertise supporting the HW/SW located at the Domestic Consular/Passport facilities.Contractor duties and responsibilities consist of the following IT related functions, including but not limited to:

Provide planning, installation, training, support, monitoring and maintenance of HW (server and workstation builds) and software including all Consular Affairs applications (e.g., Active Directory accounts and passwords, System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and, other locally installed CA applications, etc.) security/vendor patches/updates/vShepere Installation Bundle (VIBs), and Oracle/SQL databases.

The SAs should provide reporting of these efforts such as, but not limited to: Server/workstations rebuilds VMware and standalone environments (Windows and Linux), management of Windows, VMware, NetApp Filers, and Tape Libraries.

Coordinate and inform CA/CST management of all risks impacting IT related services including but not limited to, power outages, environmental changes, natural disasters (fire/flood), employee accident or deliberate acts, maintenance or third party vendor actions.

Coordinate and plan for upgrades, perform monthly restores to validate user data integrity, replace HW/SW components as needed, and prepare for consolidation and decommission/retiring of HW/SW.

Perform back-ups, restores, purges and on-going management of data, systems, software and HW.

Monitor and document abnormal performance of server, workstation, and services trends as well as document and maintain site topology configuration and changes.

Education: AA/BS Information Technology S - Degree in Information Technology

Experience: 8 -10 years Systems Administrator, Network Engineer; Cisco switching and routing, VOIP, IPSEC, and firewall technology

Certifications: Preferred CompTIA A+ Certified, CompTIA Network+ Certified;CompTIA Security+ Certified

Test/ISO27001, and third party attestation artifacts Contributes and participates in on-site or remote vendor audits that may require InfoSec/Cyber expertise Qualifications: 6 years of Risk Management experience in areas of application infrastructure, vendor risk mgmt. and minimum 4 years relevant work experience supporting IT/IS Risk vendor due diligence required Associate s degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school required CISSP, CRISC, CISM, SANS or similar relevant certification preferred Strong communication, leadership, interpersonal and collaborative skills Experience with ISO 27001-2, NIST 800-53 or other controls framework and strong understanding of security certification such as SOC1/SOC2, SSAE 16/18, ISO27000 Employee Benefits: Competitive BONUS program Excellent health benefits with award winning wellness program Tuition and gym reimbursement 401K with company match Pet Insurance Join a winning team!
