RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client, a growing accounting/financial services firm located near New York, NY is seeking a Desktop Support Technician.

Summary:
The Desktop Support Associate's primary role is to ensure proper computer operation so that end users can accomplish business tasks. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving end user help requests and application support. Problem resolution may involve the use of diagnostic and help request tracking tools, as well as require that the individual give in-person, hands-on help at the desktop level. The candidate may be required to interact with other members of the IT Team to diagnose and resolve unique problems. At times, the candidate may be asked to assist in the maintenance and testing of network, servers and/or associated equipment. This is a direct hire (full time) position that is paying a competitive compensation package.

Desktop Support's Responsibilities:
Field incoming help requests from end users via both telephone and e-mail in a courteous manner
Document all pertinent end user identification information, including name, department, contact information
Works with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with desktop computing equipment and software
Support various software packages including Office365, anti-virus, backup, email clients, email servers, ActiveSync, VPN client, Adobe Products, Internet Browsers
Develop user training manuals, help sheets, frequently asked questions lists, and procedures for end users where applicable
Record, track, and document the help desk request problem-solving process, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made
Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, implementing file backups, and configuring systems and applications
Performing preventative maintenance, including checking and cleaning of workstations, printers, and peripherals

REQUIREMENTS:
Expert knowledge of computer hardware
Expert knowledge of desktop and server operating systems
You must have experience supporting Office365 and Windows 10
Application support experience with Citrix, Group Policy and Microsoft Office
Strong documentation skills
Experience with active directory including creating, maintaining, deleting users and groups
Experience with mobile device management
Proficient with DNS and DHCP
Solid understanding of corporate networks and connectivity between users and servers
Solid understanding of wireless technologies
Experience with VoIP is preferred
Experience with Intune is preferred
Experience with information security concepts are a plus

Observe personnel in the room continuously, control traffic, report and correct breaks in aseptic technique promptly. Maintain and care for all specimens as directed to prevent loss or damage. Assist in application of dressing, moving of patient and transfer to recovery room as directed. Assist in room clean-up and make preparations for next procedure.Assist the nurse in preparing medications or solutions to be administered during surgery, within the following limitations: Mix medicated solution at the sterile field, only under the direct supervision of the Registered Professional Nurse dispensing the medication. Label all medications that are not already labeled, for example medicines in syringes, cups and basins when Not for immediate patient use by the original preparer and/or if the medication is to be handed off to another provider for administration.Qualifications/Requirements:
