Overview:

Jefferson Frank is partnering with an AWS Consulting firm that is seeking experienced professionals who want to be a part of a highly professional and dynamic team that supports the industry leaders in Financial Services (Wealth Management, Asset Management, Banking, Insurance) consulting, helping with the design & delivery of effective transformation programs across people, processes, & systems.

With 10+ years of AWS & 20+ years of Financial Services experience, they understand the business needs & build solutions to meet sales, marketing, & compliance goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Reviewing existing AWS Key Management Service (AWS KMS) requirements and implementation,


• Developing cloud Center Of Excellence (CoE),


• Leading the infrastructure work stream for the CoE,


• Setting up and operating the work stream,


• Defining foundation capabilities to build, developing and prioritizing backlog and assisting with implementations,


• Documenting activities and required work stream management tasks,


• Reviewing backlog and recommending priorities of capabilities to build for the infrastructure work stream,


• OU implementing standard AWS Identity Access Management (IAM) roles,


• Continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) design. Recommending new AWS KMS requirements versus leading practices, and providing a framework for infrastructure


• Recommending new AWS KMS requirements versus leading practices


• Review existing fault isolation detection (FID) requirements and implementation


• Recommend general leading practice FID requirements


• Providing a leading general practice bastion hosts security design


• Providing an AWS CloudFormation template to implement hosts and security groups


• Providing hands-on training of AWS CloudFormation template to implement hosts and security groups

Requirements:

• At least 4 years' experience in AWS


• Coding
  
  
  
  • Accepted Languages: Python, Ruby, Node or Java
  
  
  
  


• Knowledge and hands on understanding of Cloud Formation


• Prior consultant experience preferred


• Highly articulate and well spoken


• Prior experience or interest in working with finical institutions and similar clients

• Target Salary: 140-170k+DOE
