important questions nobody else can.The opportunityOur Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) team

is growing exponentially, and as a Staff in our Derivatives and Financing

Instruments (DFI) group, you’ll play a key role in that growth. Working across

all industries, you’ll develop your career by communicating creative, strategic

goals both internally and externally. It’s all about listening to and

understanding our clients to give them a truly exceptional experience in a

field where there really are no off-the-shelf recommendations. As part of our DFI offering, you willhelp companies manage the complex financial and accounting

issues relating to financial instruments and derivatives, including foreign

currency, commodities, asset transfers and interest-rate risks.What to expectThe nature of this role means no two projects will be

the same. That means you’ll need to think on your feet and challenge existing

practices to develop answers to complex issues. You’ll also be collaborating

with colleagues across multiple service lines, so we’ll look to you to build

relationships and identify opportunities for our clients to benefit from our

knowledge in other areas. Regular travel will be required as you will be

meeting with key clients, some of those being the most respected in their

fields.Yourkey responsibilities

Consulting with clients on complex and technicalaccounting issues

Collaborating with partners, senior managers and clientsto influence strategy, balancing risk and client expectations

Ensuring our Engagement team thoroughlyunderstands our clients’ unique needs, ambitions and expectations

Building relationships with colleagues acrossmultiple service lines to provide seamless integrated service

Managing performance and identifyingopportunities to improve our products and processes

To qualify for the role you must have

Or beworking toward, a bachelor’s or graduate degree in Accounting, along withthe drive and pre-qualifications to achieve CPA certification

Excellentanalytical and technical presentation skills, to communicate complex ideasclearly to clients in a range of fields

Strongtechnical writing skills and some risk management knowledge

Interestindebtand equity accounting, hedge accounting, financial asset transfers such assecuritizations and factoring agreements

Interest in foreign currencymatters, including functional currency determination, remeasurement andtranslation

Apassion for client focus and the professionalism for managing sensitiveclient relationships

Ahighly collaborative approach to work

The confidence to research and resolveemerging client issues, including regulations, industry practices and newtechnologies

A driver’s license valid in the US

Ability and willingness to travel on shortnotice
