RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Graphic Designer in New York, NY. The responsibility of Consultant is to develop visual concepts for applications.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the design and development of user experiences for a variety of applications
Create visual elements such as icons, logos, original images, and illustrations to help deliver a message
Design layouts, including selection of colors, images, and typefaces
Create responsive designs for multiple contexts and devices (e.g., desktop, mobile, tablet)
Prototype design solutions for review, testing and handoff
Understand the brand, marketing initiatives, strategic positioning and target audience
Evaluating ease of use, utility, efficiency in performing tasks, etc.
Translates low fidelity wireframes and business requirements into features and functionality for web/mobile experiences
Develops high-fidelity wireframes and prototypes to effectively conceptualize and communicate
high-level design strategies
Proficient in design tools (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe XD)
Meet with product manager to determine scope
REQUIREMENTS:
BS/BA degree in Design, Visual Design, or related field preferred
Five to eight years of experience in graphic design. Portfolio/samples required
Have in-depth knowledge of graphics creation with Adobe Creative Suite
Can wireframe, prototype, and validate work using Adobe Creative Suite
Have a good understanding of UX/UI
Have a strong portfolio that demonstrates creative concept development and graphic design
skills
Can work in a team and independently to develop and resolve designs, enhancements and fixes on tight timelines
Have an advanced understanding of the online user experience
Have exceptional creative, technical and analytical skills
Can receive and provide constructive feedback
