If you begin working at Wells Fargo, you should expect to transfer with the sale to the new company, with similar employment terms and conditions following your Wells Fargo start date.The Insurance Business Development Analyst is part of a dedicated Insurance Business Development, Relationship Management and Solutions team with ultimate responsibility for building out, growing, and supporting all activities associated with ensuring WFAM remains a leader in the Insurance Asset Management space.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Provide planning and support to the team’s Insurance Client Advisors, Vice Presidents, and Associates in business development and client retention activities related to large and complex insurance clients, prospects, and related consultants

Develop presentations, prepare marketing and service materials, assess compliance implications and manage the client, prospect and consultant questionnaire process

Responsible for preparation and provision of portfolio performance and competitive analysis, interpreting the data and making recommendations based on the analysis

Develop and analyze complex client reports and commentaries and prepares portfolio review material

Lead various projects including identifying resources, establishing time-frame and managing to milestones

Resolve complex operational, systems-related and/or issues for internal and external clients

Broad and deep understanding of client/prospect/consultant needs and may consult with a small number of relationships around investment strategy, performance, new solutions, and market developments

Identify opportunities to streamline processes and procedures providing for more efficient and timely execution of team tasks

Required Qualifications2+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: portfolio management, sales, marketing, or institutional client service

Desired QualificationsBasic knowledge and understanding of financial services products and services

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

Strong project management skills

Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills

Other Desired QualificationsEquity and fixed income analytical experience

Progress toward, or desire to pursue CFA

Ability to work flexible hours when needed

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Knowledge and understanding of revenue driven goals and their implications

Extensive knowledge and understanding of the institutional industry and products

Solid knowledge and understanding of investment products and services

Knowledge and understanding of Client Relationship Management (CRM) systems
