Description Role Description: Extensive knowledge in client/server and object-oriented software development utilizing Java/J2EE, Python, JSON, MQ, JMS, Sprint, REST API REQUIRED Assist first level support with production issues and installations of financial applications Enhance test suites and assist in documenting systems Develop reports (Java) against large data sets. Implement cloud services to the application. Skills Needed: Extensive knowledge in client/server and object-oriented software development utilizing Java/J2EE, Python, JSON, MQ, JMS, Sprint, REST API REQUIRED. Must be able to work independently. Time management skills are a must. Must have the communication skills to initiate conversations and work with technical and non-technical staff to resolve issues/conflicts High level of collaboration with other members of the team 2+ years' experience in Java applications with solid coding/testing skills. 2+ years' experience with scripting and/or applicatipon development and support Ability to work on a W2 basis without sponsorship Experience in Financial industry a preferred Leading financial firm hoping to hire a Java Developer ASAP with opportunities for advancement and growth amid economic uncertainty!
