Our client in New York, NY (Bryant Park Area) is looking for an AV Analyst to join their team. This role is starting as a contract position with a high likelihood of becoming a permanent position.

This is an opportunity for growth potential to start managing and supervising meetings - you will be able to get experience at the specialist level.

This person will be supporting and operating the company's video conferencing and audio/visual systems in support of improving productivity of users. This person is expected to be on site every day.

Position Description:


  • Working in a self-service driven environment

  • This person will need to have strong people skills - will need to provide white-glove service/VIP support (have strong customer service experience clear on resume)

  • Shifts: 8AM-4PM (priority) and 9AM-5PM

  • Setting up AV equipment (50% of the time they are doing the AV set ups - ability to follow process)

  • Boots on the ground analyst role

  • Run daily conference room checks to assure all technology and devices are fully operational and ready for service.

  • Run daily conference room scheduling report and schedule/coordinate internal and external daily video conferences and webinars on appropriate video platforms.

  • Provide proactive outreach to end users to confirm meeting requirements and make recommendations if needed.

  • Work collaboratively with other departments to coordinate large meetings, webinar, Town Hall events and/or offsite events.

  • Provide ad hoc training on multimedia technologies requested by end users.

  • Troubleshoot technology issues before/during/after meetings.

  • Provide hands-on in-room or remote meeting/event support as requested.

  • Respond to end users in a timely fashion to address any AV-related problems that come up and work together with the network and infrastructure teams in cases where issues are network related.

  • Ensure adequate inventory for AV equipment's peripherals (batteries, projector bulbs, etc.)

  • Create documentation and manuals for supported hardware software packages as needed.

  • Perform basic editing of video/audio clips for meetings/events that are recorded.

  • Use of software platforms to add graphics to video/audio clips (Adobe Premiere, Camtasia, Vegas, Final Cut, etc.).






Required Skills:


  • Expertise in web conferencing clients (WebEx, Zoom, GoToMeeting, ON24 and other webinar/event platforms)

  • 2+ years of experience in a professional environment with a focus in multimedia and/or end-user support.

  • Understanding of audio/visual systems (Cisco and Polycom endpoints, video bridges, expressways and switches)

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.

  • Commitment to great client service.

  • Ability to collaborate in a team, including across offices (team consists of 10 people)

  • Strong thinking/problem-solving skills

  • Ability to follow AV processes at a white-glove level

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Assist in application of dressing, moving of patient and transfer to recovery room as directed. Assist in room clean-up and make preparations for next procedure.Assist the nurse in preparing medications or solutions to be administered during surgery, within the following limitations: Mix medicated solution at the sterile field, only under the direct supervision of the Registered Professional Nurse dispensing the medication.
