SAP FICO Consultant

Position Type: Full-Time

The Role:
Madiba is currently conducting an executive search for an industry leading client in need of an SAP FICO Consultant that will be a part of their company’s growth, success and achievement. This is a full-time remote opportunity. The role requires knowledge of Configuration, Master Data, Revenue Recognition, Cost Center Accounting, COPA, and Internal Order Accounting in SAP ECC 6.0.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • SAP ECC 6.0 SAP FICO Expert (minimum 8 years SAP hands on project implementation experience)
  • Must have experience implementing and SAP CO (Cost Center Accounting/ Profit Center Accounting)
  • Functional and Configuration experience in SAP FICO (CO-PA)
  • Understanding of cross-module dependencies and integration to, PP, WM, and MM
  • Strong understanding of integration touchpoints with other SAP modules
  • Analyze, design, build, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance CO-PA functional solutions leveraging SAP FICO
  • Create documentation, including functional and technical specifications, test planning and execution
  • Collaborate with both functional and IT technical teams and Business SMEs to realize solutions for cross-functional areas (either integration with other SAP modules or external systems)
  • Background in ERP application development, customizing and operation
  • Proven ability to drive business requirements and solution design
  • Ability to clearly articulate options/alternatives for SAP FICO solutions

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in a global enterprise delivering ERP solutions
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred
  • CPA, Chartered ACC or related certification a plus
  • Excellent communication and client interaction skills
