RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a Senior AWS Solutions Architect in New York, NY.

Summary:
As a Senior AWS Solution Architect (SA), you will get to design and build highly scalable, flexible, resilient, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures. You will help the organization to adopt advanced cloud-based solutions and migrate existing on-premise workloads to the cloud.

The Senior AWS Solutions Architect's broad responsibilities will include owning the customer technical engagement, working cross-organizationally to facilitate widespread use and adoption of the AWS platform, and developing a deep expertise in the AWS technologies as well as broad know-how around how applications and services are constructed using the AWS platform.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field of study or 12+ years of related work experience
AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional (required)
AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional
8+ years within specific technology domain areas (e.g., cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
7+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience with large-scale, distributed, enterprise applications
5+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures
5+ years design/implementation/consulting experience with Enterprise applications
Professional experience architecting/building/operating solutions on AWS
Demonstrated experience building large-scale architectures involving public cloud platforms and on-premise technologies to meet business requirements
Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients
Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
Strong oral and written communication skills, with a high degree of comfort dealing with CxOs, IT Directors, Enterprise Architects, and development teams
Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
Knowledge of cloud technologies in the area of operational management, high availability, disaster recovery, security, and risk/compliance frameworks
