Role Description - junior to mid level (2-5 years of exp) Looking to hire a hybrid Senior Business Analyst, Project Manager to support the Information Technology team. The successful candidate will drive IT and business process optimization efforts and major IT-finance projects. This position offers a great opportunity for growth in a dynamic global firm and will interface directly with senior IT management and key business stakeholders.
Principal Responsibilities • Foster strong relationships with the IT and business stakeholders. Learn and document the workflows, pain points and feature requests. • Actively participate in daily scrums and manage the project backlogs. • Partner with project managers to ensure the IT portfolio is successfully delivered. • Analyze business problems (process or data) and identify specific opportunities for process and systems-related improvements • Document current state processes and assist with defining target state. • Re-engineer/optimize business processes, synthesizing analysis and incorporating technology where applicable. • Act as a thought partner with cross-functional business partners; assist in setting priorities for requested projects and project requirements. • Collaborate with project stakeholders, assist with managing overall project execution for assigned projects. • • Continuously manage project budgets and projects’ risks • Assist with coordination and selection of potential new solutions.
Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree and/or certifications preferred • 3-5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the finance or professional services industries • Excellent organization skills • Experience with Agile methodologies • AZURE dev ops exposure a plus • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and retain professionalism and accuracy • Strong attention to detail with the ability to be proactive, solve problems, think ahead, and multi-task on a daily basis • A strong work ethic and ‘can do’ attitude: motivated, flexible nature, ability to maintain composure at all times • Entrepreneurial mindset and a self-starter • Collaborative with a team-player spirit • Strong comfort and experience liaising with internal and external shareholders • Excellent written & oral communication • Ability to interact professionally with a broad group of stakeholders
