Within the Data & Technology Transformation department, Trading and Financing IT is looking for a VPlevel Front Office developer to join the IT Quant/Proximity development team. The candidate will work in a small dynamic and agile group with high visibility to the Front Office. The team works directly with Global Markets traders, to support multiple Front Office applications to manage analytics, hedging and risks, in collaboration with local and global IT teams.

The candidate will be responsible for providing the Global Macro business (Rates, FX), Equity, Credit, etc. with reliable and time-sensitive/real time IT solutions to meet their needs. He/She/They will be involved in the different phases of application development: user needs collection, analysis, design, implementation, delivery, support, and maintenance, within an agile framework. Main technologies are .Net (C#) and React.

He/she/they will:

  • Work in close proximity with traders in their daily activities, supporting and maintaining their applications (risk, sensibilities, hedging, analytics, order passing, reporting etc.…)
  • Build strong relationships with traders,
  • Troubleshoot and resolve critical issues in real time in a fast-paced environment, during Fixed Income Rates/Swaps market hours Collect user requirements, analyze them.
  • Design the architecture, develop, test, implement, and evolve IT Solutions for the Rates/Swap Desk, specifically in the front office risk domain
  • Own the product and drive evolution of the platform used to support the business
  • Identify ways software can improve the activities of the business

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree, preference given to engineering or other technical disciplines
  • 4+ years of directly related experience
  • Experience in financial services, specifically an international bank is highly preferred
  • Experience with Front Office/Risk application development
  • Required: C#,.Net Core, REACT/REDUX or Angular, GRPC,WCF, KAFKA messaging, In
Memory database experience( Redis/SingleStore), SQL Server , Excel VBA, Business
Intelligence Tools, Scripting Languages, Docker or OpenShift . XUnit/NUnit
  • Ability to work with schedulers such us Control-M or Autosys.
Source Code Management, Git, Jenkins, CI-CD
  • Knowledge of financial products, portfolio analytics, FO/MO/BO chain, Swap desk risk management
  • Good hands-on experience with risk management and P&L explanation system design/development, in particular for Rates or Swap desk
  • Proficiency in supporting time sensitive, highly available, and real-time systems
