Duration: 6+ months

Description:
This role will focus primarily on crafting high-quality UX strategies and experiences for our product journeys; partnering closely with the Product Owner and Researcher to establish user and business requirements and fostering the optimal customer experience. That includes deep involvement with the product teams to understand the business case, crafting wireframes for consistent usability testing with the research partner and defending UX decisions to internal stakeholders. Deliverables will include IA, content strategies (in partnership with our UX Writer), wireframes and prototypes. This is a role that will require a potent mix of can-do attitude, open communication, a collaborative spirit, ability to collaborate with our UX Content Writer and colleagues in multiple departments. It is a Senior UX role requiring demonstrated experience with enterprise design challenges.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Product Managers/Product Owners to understand the business need and the impact on the customer
Manage the creation of wireframes and presentations of wireframes to internal stakeholders
Bring stakeholders with you- help your partners and stakeholders understand the impact of solid customer experiences and answer the "why of your decisions
Partner with researchers and our UX Writer to deliver usable wireframes and stimulus (prototypes) on time
Participate in research for your wireframes/designs and own the outcomes
Work with the UI team for handoff to address ongoing usability and standards concerns
Investigate and establish frameworks for UX patterns within the product
Own insights outcomes from research
Establish processes within the product team for facilitating early/often stakeholder alignment
Work within a matrix environment, building strong relationships with your partners across multiple business units, managing and escalating as appropriate to drive projects to a successful conclusion.
Drive the development and maturity of new but growing team, helping build the foundations of the UX practice within the department, assisting colleagues as necessary.

Experience required:
Excellent communication, presentation, influencing and relationship-building skills; ability to find the balance between confidence and humility
5+ years of UX/IA and UX Strategy experience with consumer facing digital products, websites and mobile experiences- must have demonstrated consumer-facing product experience
Demonstrated IA experience and a solid ability to re-organize information within wireframes based on product/engineering requirements
Ability to establish an MVP with a clear direction for UX improvements
Excellent consultation skills, with proven experience in identifying customer needs, aligning design approach with overall product/business strategy.
A strong understanding and ability to self-reflect heuristics against design decisions
Ability to synthesize multiple points of feedback to arrive at design recommendations that deliver customer-focused outcomes for the organization, and communicate them effectively to Product Owners and other stakeholders.
Can demonstrate experience adapting to change, and be able to hit the ground running, managing multiple projects to tight deadlines, according to demands on the team.
Track record of mentoring/coaching more junior members of the team to upskill the team overall
Demonstrated experience working with UI partners and able to distinguish between UX and UI

The Role We have an opportunity for a Designer to join our Faade Practice. This individual will be responsible for the detailing of facades and running relevant analyses, materials and systems research, and coordinating project work with the team. Responsibilities Analyzes faade performance with specialized software (i.e. loading, thermal analysis, condensation risk, geometry).
