FILICORI ZECCHINI CAFE', an artisanal italian boutique cafe' is hiring! READ THE ENTIRE POST before responding and applying.
We are actively seeking the right enthusiastic individual for a Barista or Lead Barista position within our cafes in Manhattan located on the Upper West Side. The right team player will start on a probationary period and will prove him or herself for a Barista or Lead Barista position ramp-up in VERY short time.
The right candidate MUST HAVE:
>> Extensive coffee and barista experience
>> Previously barista experience in a cafe setting
>> The right personality, integrity, honesty, attitude, and work ethic
Shift:
- Full time position
- Must be available primarily opening morning shift and available to work weekends.
Store hours:
- opening 6:00am / closing 7:30pm
opening shift start at 5:30am.
This position mandates and entails the following:
- Knowledge of Latte Art
- Possession of the Food permit
- Proactive, self-starter, meticulous attention to detail, and impeccable follow-through
- Managing scheduling, staffing optimization, and labor costs
- Vendor management, inventory tracking, and COGS analysis
- Devising and implementing creative, strategic, and fun solutions to achieve specific store goals
- Living near the cafe' close to the Upper West Side area huge plus.
- Previous experience in an Italian Cafe' huge plus.
Salary:
Between $13 and $14 dollars per hour depending on experience + cash tips and electronic tips.
You must work HARD and SMART for your store, your team, your colleagues, and the company. You must be passionate about our brand and emphatic about hospitality and coffee.
