Job description
The Restroom Attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining assigned restroom facilities before during and after operational hours.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Engagement with guests in a professional, calm, welcoming manner
· Constant communication done with clarity
· Uses LDV standards of engagement for all service techniques
· Provide engaged, friendly, and attentive customer service to all guests inclusive of eye contact, respectable conversation and smiling
· Maintain a clean and organized workstation
· General cleaning and replenishing of guest and employee restrooms
· Spot-check restrooms throughout day or event to ensure a clean and neat appearance
· Refresh paper goods in dispensers and n counters when needed
· Empty garbage from trash receptacles when full
· Monitor areas outside and around restroom for cleanliness to ensure spotless mirrors and floors
· Remove boxes that may no longer be needed and discard of in garbage Dumpster
· General sweeping where needed
· Clean-up of any spills and leaks that may occur in restroom
· Returning proper tools or equipment to its proper place before after use
· Perform opening and closing duties as specified per scheduled shift
· Practice highest regards for safety within all areas and with all materials
· Follow and adhere to all standards set forth by the Department of Health (DOH)
· Perform all other related activities as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Deliver timely and courteous service to LDV Hospitality guests in adherence to our company policies and procedures
- Ability to speak, understand, read and write in English.
- Maintain friendly, helpful and positive attitude at all times.
- Strong customer service background
- Ability to have an outgoing, friendly disposition for guest relations
- Adherence to company, state, and county sanitation standards.
- Strict adherence to posted schedule and clock in/out at times.
- Attendance to company meetings and training seminars as required.
- Responsible for training and developing new employees to LDV Hospitality’s standards of service.
- Adherence to company uniform and grooming policies.
- Perform all other duties assigned by the management
- Adhere to all HR policies and procedures
Education, Experience, Knowledge Requirements
-1+ years' experience as a Restroom Attendant of a similar caliber concept
- High School education is preferred, but not required
Physical/Special Requirements
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to bend, stoop, stand and perform extensive walking for 8-10 hours a day
- Mobility and manual dexterity appropriate to staff in the Restroom Attendant position
Work Environment
- Ability to withstand a high volume of business and the movement, noise and temperature extremes associated with that volume
- Ability to perform essential job functions under pressure, maintain professionalism when working under stress
