CATERING AND SALES MANAGER --
We are looking for an experienced Catering Manager that will help us spread the good word and our offerings to all of NYC by bringing delicious and healthy meals to our loyal fans as well as establishing new relationships with those who have not yet discovered us.
Our Catering division is an intricate part of our business. It should be handled with care and finesse. We stand behind a positive and memorable guest experience, starting with order placing to execution and presentation.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, organized and sales-driven. You should have exceptional customer service skills, impeccable attention to detail, and experience in catering/events sales.
Youâll work directly with our Chef & Culinary Team to ensure we provide our guests with a stress-free experience with every order.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Increase catering sales by developing and executing a strategic sales plan
- Market catering program to new clients through linkedin outreach, networking, and other creative avenues
- Conduct calls/visits in addition to e-mail outreach
- Schedule & conduct weekly in person tastings
- Identify networks to present our catering packages
- Network with community
- Actively cultivate relationships with and manage our existing clients
- Maintain all documents used for the catering business and ensure they are updated on a daily basis
(catering prep lists, labels, Master Sheets, websites, photos)
- Be a brand ambassador and become an expert in our food and menu
- Evaluate current logistics and implement new procedures that promote efficiency and scalability
REQUIREMENTS:
- A minimum of 2+ years restaurant catering/sales experience, including a proven record of meeting sales goals (multi-unit experience a plus)
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal and organizational skills
- An exceptional work ethic
- An ability to multi-task and thrive within a high-pressure environment
- Intermediate computer skills (comfort with microsoft office suite and Google docs) + have a personal computer
- Strong leadership and people skills with ability to build and foster a team environment
- The ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- No fear to roll up your sleeves to prepare rush orders and execute catering deliveries from start to finish
This is a FULL-TIME position with base salary & commission.
