Hi!
We're looking for people with food service experience to help sell handmade cheese and yogurt in the farmers markets for a NJ cheesemaker. Farmers market experience not required, but definitely a bonus.
We have THREE OPENINGS, one on SATURDAY, two on SUNDAY. Hours are typically 7am-3pm
LOCATIONS VARY
SATURDAY is near Lincoln Center
SUNDAYS are in the East Village and in Forest Hills, Queens
No driving required, we'd deliver and pick up the equipment, you'd show up, set up, and sell, and pack things up at the end of the day. You'll be trained, but ultimately you'll run the whole stand by yourself most days.
Plus free cheese! To take home or barter with other vendors for groceries, if they're into that.
Applicants must be comfortable standing for most of the shift and comfortable lifting 50 lbs.
pay is good! flat hourly plus a commission on sales, in total it usually averages out to $20-$26/hr.
