We are hiring a retail sales associate and possible manager for our farmers markets. This position is 3 shifts a week, which includes a mix of weekends and weekdays.
We are a sourdough bagel shop, we sell loads of bagels at many area farmers markets. We are looking for someone with a background in sustainable agriculture, a love of local food and an interest in keeping our food system safe and delicious.
This is a position for someone who is very active and can lift a tent (about 40 pounds) and is comfortable standing for long periods of time. It's a full day (about 6-8 hours), but there's down time for shopping, dog watching and in general it's lots of fun! There is a camaraderie between vendors and it is very special, you will be a part of this!
